French Submarine Plans 8 Junon 1935
Junon was a Minerve-class submarine of the French Navy.
She was seized by the British on 3 July 1940 [1] , shortly after the French surrender, and was transferred to the Free French Naval Forces. On 19 October 1942 she torpedoed and sank the Norwegian merchant SS Nordland off the west coast of Norway. She served in the post-war French Navy until being decommissioned on 6 December 1954. [2]
