How I do it: Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable w/Audio Technica AT440MLa phono cartridge via analog connection to a Yamaha RX-Z1 A/V Receiver which goes analog to a Sony PCM-R300 DAT deck. The DAT deck does the analog to digital conversion and the audio signal is then sent digitally through a Turtle Beach Catalina sound card and recorded via Cool Edit Pro as a wav file on my computer. The wav file is then processed with ClickRepair, trimmed/edited in Cool Edit Pro and converted to FLAC using the FLAC Frontend GUI interface. I guess the simplified lineage would be: Vinyl>WAV>FLAC
A HUGE THANK YOU to squirrelgrease for the artwork that accompanies these torrents. To put it simply, the artwork is stunning!
