Alissa Sanders, singer of Jazz and Brazilian music, is a native of Los Angeles who moved to Brazil in the mid-90s.  Living there for over a decade, she came to learn and embody the rich culture, language and music that surrounded her.  In 2007, Alissa was invited to sing at Baretto, the internationally renown piano bar of the Fasano Hotel in São Paulo.  Her weekly shows with the Mário Edson Quartet were a success with fans and led to performances at venues throughout São Paulo. 

Alissa's roots in Jazz blended with the rhythms and colors of Brazil make for a sound that is warm and intimate, sweet and alluring as it traverses borders.  AlissaMusic embodies the many musical avenues that Alissa Sanders aspires to travel as a singer who is passionate about her craft.  She has performed in solo and group shows, for television and music recordings in Brazil, the United States and India.  Alissa Sanders returned to Los Angels in May 2011, where her voice enchants new friends and fans in the City of Angels.
