Jon Douglas Lord (Leicester, 9 juni 1941) is een Engels muzikant, die voornamelijk bekend is geworden als toetsenist van de hardrockband Deep Purple.

Vanaf zijn negende speelt Lord piano, eerst met het doel om klassiek pianist te worden, maar hij vond jazz en blues veel aantrekkelijker muziek. Hij begon bij the Bill Ashton Combo, en na allerlei omzwervingen, onder meer bij the Kinks en the Flowerpotmen kwam hij bij Boz en Roundabout Ritchie Blackmore en Ian Paice tegen.
On returning to The Basement, the band immediately hit the stage and performed in front of a packed house. Here, commissioned by TMM, and recorded by The Basement.com for an International webcast which went live to the world, this DVD is a testament to the vast talent of Jon Lord, THE HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN, and Jimmy Barnes.
