Produced by Stu Phillips in 1964, The Hollyridge Strings Play The Beach Boys Songbook was originally issued in in vinyl format and has never been reissued digitally. In the mid-1960s, he worked for Capitol Records and created, produced and arranged for the Hollyridge Strings. Stu also orchestrated the musical interludes for The Monkees TV series and throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, Phillips continued scoring films and television series including music for the films Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970) and The Seven Minutes (1971).”
