Post Description
About the artist:
Buckethead is an ideal guitar hero for the year 2000. Melodic, psychotic, and with loads of flash, he has all the burning technique of folks like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, but remains steadfastly oblivious to any real commercial considerations.
Buckethead embraces a plaintive, near-ambient sound structure while occasionally unleashing torrid spasms and blinding guitar runs. Alternating between gentle, haunting lyricism and meta-metal explorations, Buckethead engages in instrumental guitar warfare like no other.
About the album:
This is a crazy show. First off, an amazing soundboard recording...but beyond that, the show is Buckethead solo, literally...just Buckethead with his iPod as a backing band.
But it smokes.
Two hours of terrific beats and Buckethead shredding. There are a few improv pieces with one his latest collaborators, That 1 Guy, a freak truly worth Buckethead"s acquaintance...
