Set up as a Masterpiece Theater production of a long-lost William Makepeace Thackeray novella, Backwash blends action, slapstick, animation, surrealist humor, and a little song and dance into a zany odyssey. Guest stars include Jon Hamm, Hank Azaria, Fred Willard, Steven Weber, Sarah Silverman, Alison Janney, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Michael Vartan, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and John Stamos.
