In Maart barst 't circus weer los in Melbourne, Australia en wat wordt 't dit jaar met de Turbo motoren en nieuwe regels, hopelijk wordt 't weer net zo spannend als afgelopen seizoen.

It was the year that saw Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel - the youngest driver to score a Formula One world championship point on his debut in the USA in 2007 - become the youngest man to win four consecutive drivers’ titles.
His consistency and speed proved an unbeatable combination for his rivals and earned him a record-equalling 13 wins, as well as an unprecedented nine successive victories in one season. His epic achievement wasn't without controversy, however. 
Relive the tension between the champion and team mate Mark Webber when Vettel disobeyed orders in pursuit of the victory in Malaysia. After 12 years of Formula One competition, Webber then took off his F1 helmet for the last time at the season finale in Brazil. He may not have added to his tally of wins, but he did finish third in the drivers' championship.

Mercedes took Red Bull by the horns in qualifying: with eight pole positions they proved they had the outright pace. Lewis Hamilton secured his first win for his new team in Hungary, and with two further triumphs for team mate Nico Rosberg, the Silver Arrows beat Ferrari to second place in the constructors' championship, despite the best efforts of Fernando Alonso, runner-up to Vettel in the driver standings.

Kimi Raikkonen started the season on the top step for Lotus, but the relationship faltered. Romain Grosjean kept the team spirit alive and with six podium appearances he proved he has matured enough to become the team's number one.
