The International Flat Book in Colour - which is here published in a fully up-to-date edition is the most comprehensive book on flags at a popular price available anywhere in the world today. It contains reproductions and descriptions of almost all National, State, naval and mercantile flags in use today of all the world's Sovereign States. Constituent States. Colonies, etc. In addition, there are numerous other currently recognized official flags (for Heads of State, etc.) and finally some older flags of historical interest -a total of about 700 different flags in all. The book also contains Coats of Arms for the States, etc., of all the world&#151;a total of about 180. An explanatory text at the end of the book corresponds to each number on the colour plates. Numerous variations in flags, for which there was not sufficient room on the plates, are explained in the text.
