The Outsiders was een Amsterdamse nederbietband onder aanvoering van zanger Wally Tax. De band werd door Tax in 1960 opgericht toen hij 12 jaar was. In eerste instantie speelde de band voornamelijk in Amsterdamse gelegenheden. Later toerden de Outsiders door het hele land.
