Season 2, Episode 3: Coping Cards

Natalie fights to keep life normal for the kids as she contends with increasing side effects from her trial drug. Tensions flare between Maggie and Matthew as they fail in their attempt to rally around their ailing sister. Maggie confronts Oliver about his decision to be Romy’s guardian if the need arises. Caleb fights feelings of uselessness, and struggles to accept that his father has returned. Romy’s attempt to take her future into her own hands is challenged and Emma’s job interview doesn’t go a smoothly as planned. Matthew tries to make peace with Nicole, but is frustrated by her reaction to his efforts.
