Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same on Limited Edition 180g 4LP Box Set!
Half-Speed Mastered and Cut by Stan Ricker!
Pressed at RTI for True Audiophile Quality!
New Remastering Gives Iconic Live Album New Life!
The soundtrack to Led Zeppelin?s landmark concert film, The Song Remains The Same captures highlights from the band?s amazing 3-night stand at Madison Square Garden in 1973. Newly remastered, remixed, and expanded with six previously unreleased historic performances--"Black Dog (including "Bring It On Home"), "Over the Hills and Far Away," "Misty Mountain Hop," "Since I've Been Loving You," "The Ocean," "Heartbreaker"--this enhanced version beats every aspect of the 1976 original. The differences are profound: You will hear this as if you've never heard it before.
Much of the improvement is due to the astounding sonics. Half-speed mastered and cut by the legendary Stan Ricker, and supervised by the band, these LPs dramatically better the musical presentation. While the original suffered from a distant perspective and dry tones, this reissue explodes with liveliness and detail. The Song Remains the Same sounds like a completely new record. What a transformation!
