Brian is one of the world's leading composers in the traditional vein. Many CDs from Scotland and Ireland include his tunes. Brian is joined by International Grandmaster Fiddler Shane Cooke (only 19 years old at the time of the taping), flute, and pipes player Pat O'Gorman and pianist Julie Schryer, as well as Sahra Featherstone on harp and fiddle. Brian plays guitar and mandolin. The group is Canadian.
 Gearoid OhAllmhurain (concertina), Patrick Ourceau (fiddle): One of the most respected traditional duos, dedicated to the music of Counties Clare and East Galway. Patrick, originally from France, played with the Tulla Ceili Band and is "a fiddler of rare talent and sophisticationââ,¬Â¦ beautiful tone, pulsing rhythmic. He now lives and teaches in New York City. Gearoid has won All Ireland Championships on concertina Uilleann pipes and as a member of the Kilfenora Ceili Band. He is currently Chair of Irish Studies at a leading American university. He is an All Ireland Adjudicator and author of "A pocket History of Irish Music".
 Providence: One of Ireland's "super groups" featuring concertina master Micheal O' Raghallaigh, fiddler Clodagh Boylan, flautist Troy Bannon and singer Joan McDermott. They have several All Ireland individual championships to their credit as well as extensive US, Australia and U.K. tours with Comhaltas Ceoltori Eireann. Joan is an archivist with the Irish Traditional Archives in Dublin.
