Ep. 1: Helen Stewart fails to turn up after sick leave, prompting her colleagues to think she's gone AWOL. Instead, Jim is appointed as acting Wing Governor, and new warden Karen Betts is signed on, despite her past history with Fenner. Meanwhile, Zandra goes into labour and is reunited with the baby's father, Robin. Yvonne builds on her relationship with the Julies, and Shell manages to illegally obtain a mobile phone, which she uses to prank call Sylvia Hollamby. 

Ep. 2: Zandra returns to the wing as Shell continues her harrassment of Jim's wife. Trouble brews for Helen and Nikki, as Nikki is unfairly provoked into attacking an officer. Reluctant to continue supporting Nikki, Helen decides to ship her out, without any warning. As events come to a head between Jim and Shell, Shell finally speaks out against her lover. 

Ep. 3: Jim is formally questioned by the police regarding his involvement with Shell and her attack. Karen Betts becomes the new wing governor following Helen's hasty departure. A new Prison Officer, Di Barker, arrives on the wing to witness conflict between Dominic and Sylvia. Nikki receives a coded postcard - is it from Helen? Josh shows interest in Christian Crystal, who is having none of it and the Julies receive news, and get down to work... 

Ep. 4: Denny receives news about her mother, and is allowed a temporary release from prison. Meanwhile, Jim grows increasingly aggravated by Karen's treatment of him, and decides to declare war. Josh continues to woo Crystal and Sylvia returns to work in a neck-brace.
