Ep. 5: Blood Ties
Jim returns to work after his stabbing, but seems less confident than before and the women have fun teasing him. New inmate, 16-year-old *** addict Buki Lester, arrives at Larkhall and shares with Denny and Shaz. Jealous of her piercings, Denny and Shaz decide to self-pierce but things go drastically wrong when Denny's tongue won't stop bleeding. Meanwhile, Yvonne goes to court to testify for her husband, but sneakily decides to turn against him when on the stand. 

Ep. 6: Do or Die
Helen and Karen become disatisfied with Dr. Nicholson's medical advice after new inmate 'Podger Pam' appeares to have been misdiagnosed. Meanwhile, Josh is tested during his induction period and the two Julies delight in the discovery of a stray cat. Jim falls to new lows in a confrontation with Helen. 

Ep. 7: The Great Escape
A fly-on-the-wall TV documentary crew, Kicking Productions, arrive at HMP Larkhall to make a series, creating havoc in the process. Meanwhile, Shell has plans to get out of Larkhall once and for all and Jim becomes involved in the escape. Helen breaks-down and reveals the truth of her assault to Nikki and Buki is found injured after self-harming in her cell. 

Ep. 8: Uninvited Guests
Shell and Denny decide to celebrate their new freedom in style. This involves copious amounts of drink and drugs, plus a visit to a special prison officer's house... Back in Larkhall, Shaz is quizzed by police about her knowledge of the escape, much to Jim's worry and it looks like an old inmate might be returning after a cruel trick by Shell.
