Information..........: Stage Struck is the third live album by Irish singer/guitarist Rory Gallagher. Released in 1980, it documents his world tour in support of his 1979 album Top Priority. As such it features many songs from that album, but also includes songs from his two albums prior to Top Priority, Calling Card (1976) and Photo-Finish (1978). Originally released with eight tracks, Stage Stuck was augmented with two bonus tracks ("Bad Penny" and "Key Chain") when reissued in 1999, four years after Gallagher's death, by his younger brother and manager, Donal Gallagher.

Rory Gallagher born William Rory Gallagher[1] (2 March, 1948 - 14 June, 1995 [2] pronounced /'r?ri 'gæl?h?r/) was an Irish blues-rock musician who rose to fame as a talented songwriter, guitarist, and bandleader. Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Ireland, and raised in Cork City, Gallagher is remembered for his solo albums throughout the 1970's and 1980's, and for his tenure in the band Taste during the late 1960s. A multi-instrumentalist who gained a reputation as a gifted and charismatic live performer, Rory Gallagher's albums have sold in excess of 30 million copies worldwide.[3][4] His songwriting, guitar prowess and showmanship on stage arguably brought him his largest audiences, and fans who still honour him to date. Gallagher is also remembered best for his shy and unassuming manner offstage, his reverence for roots and blues music and a lasting impact on other musicians. He died of an infection sustained after a nearly successful organ transplant in London, England at the age of 47.
