Hairy Bikers Everyday Gourmets 3 of 6 Indulgent Entertaining
For a change there are no tears when the Bikers do their good culinary deed for deserving folk, this week the RNLI in Exmouth. The volunteers are being given a thank you lunch by a colleague after a dangerous sea rescue. Si King and Dave Myers have £120 to splurge on a posh meal made with the best, though not necessarily the most expensive, food the sea has to offer.
After helping Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin’s Edinburgh restaurant prepare two starters, just so we can see what proper, pricey gourmet food looks like, the Bikers head to Devon to make a bisque, or a “yummy infusion of fishy goodness”, according to Myers.
