City Sauna is a brothel serving 300 customers a week. Because it’s illegal to profit from sexual activity, Kath charges a door fee and discreetly ignores what goes on upstairs. 
A Very British Brothel (Channel 4), a documentary going behind the scenes with the sex workers and clients at this Sheffield establishment, was a feat of PR for the sex trade. Everyone from manager Kath and her daughter Jenni to staff members Anna and Foxy was happy and well-paid, eager to show off the industry like a cheeky British seaside postcard, a tale of naughty boys, saucy ladies and no harm done.
