Elane biography
The German neo-progressive folk band ELANE were formed in the Sauerland region of Germany in 2001. 
The band's music tends toward gothic presentation styles with roots in both folk themes and neo-progressive arrangements centered around the vocals of band namesake Joran Elane, 
as well as electric guitar and heavy use of acoustic stringed instruments.

The group has released five studio albums and an EP to-date and have appeared in a number of folk and gothic music festivals.
