Tekken 1
PlayStation fighting games enter the third dimension with TEKKEN. You can play as 18 characters including Kazuya, Michelle, King, Jack, Yoshimitsu, Nina, Law, and Paul Phoenix. All of the characters have unique fighting styles that result in individualized attacks and combinations. Now the animation is as realistic as possible, thanks to motion-capture technology. If you play the Arcade mode and defeat the roster of opponents, you are treated to a full-motion video sequence that explains the characters motivation for entering the Iron Fist Tournament. If your friends think they can pull off a better 10-hit combination, make them prove it with the Versus mode. Do you have what it takes to become the king of TEKKEN?
Tekken 2
The Iron Fist Tournament continues with TEKKEN 2. There are more than 20 characters to choose from, including some old favorites and a few new characters. As is required, all of the fighters have unique moves and combinations, and every fighter has at least three different 10-hit combinations. The motion-capture animation has returned, making all of the fighters move smoothly and realistically. If youre good enough to beat the Arcade mode, you are treated to a full-motion video clip that explains each characters motivation for entering the tournament. As you play through the game, you can unlock new modes like Tournament, Survival, and Practice. And challenging your friends to a match is no problem thanks to the Versus mode. Play TEKKEN 2 and become the king of the Iron Fist Tournament
Tekken 3
The saga of the Iron Fist Tournament continues with Tekken 3. Fight with or against more than 20 characters, each with unique moves and special full-motion video endings. In addition to the standard Arcade and Versus modes, Namco has added a large number of extra modes like Survival, Ball, Force, Team Battle, Time Attack, Practice, and Theater. Ball mode is similar to game of volleyball, in which the characters must try to keep the ball in the air. Letting the ball hit the ground results in damage to the player when it lands on their side. Force mode has the character fight a series of enemies in a side-scrolling environment rather than the one-on-one fights of the other modes. And Theater mode lets you watch any of the FMV from all three Tekken games. Can you defeat the opposition and become King of the Iron Fist Tournament for a third time?
