Post Description

Dan Brown's epic novel The Da Vinci Code has sold countless millions of copies worldwide, and has been translated into scores of languages. With the recent release of the movie starring Tom Hanks, the hype surrounding Robert Langdon's adventure in Europe to uncover the true meaning behind The Holy Grail is at an all time high. No surprise, then, that a game was released to coincide with the cinematic experience. But the game isn't all it seems.

You see, there was a massive misconception that the game would be easy for those who read the book. We can verify for you here at IGN Guides that it's not true (the author of this guide read the book). The answers aren't clear, they aren't always in the movie, and they aren't always in the book. There's a lot of "freedoms" taken in porting the book to console gaming, and IGN Guides has them all covered. In a puzzle-solving adventure game such as this, little else is important but knowing what to do next. More often than not the adventures are linear in nature and can be perplexing if you don't know what to do next.

Thankfully for all of you adventure gamers out there, we've provided you with a full walkthrough featuring over 200 screenshots dedicated to getting you through all eleven stages in the game (nine regular stages and two secret stages). All of the items, secrets, fighting techniques and step-by-step sequences are explained thoroughly in the Walkthrough part of this guide, while the Basics section will help you grasp the game's fundamentals. And of course, a Secrets section will guide you to our repitoire of tips, tricks and cheats located in IGN's database. We can't all solve complex puzzles like Harvard Professor of Symbology Robert Langdon, but we can certainly learn to mimic all of his moves. With IGN Guides' help, you can do just that.
