Post Description

Leitmotiv - Entangled.

Formed in 2002 in Levis Quebec Canada, the group's sound is characterised by classical & celtic influences.
In July 2002, Philippe Bourque, Jean-David Vien, Olivier Boucher, Charles Gendron-Carrier et Sébastien Jean-Troestler assemble in a practice space to put together a few compositions. No other goal is set other than to play music they enjoy. After a few months, the group, with 10 songs written, goes out to play some shows in the Quebec city region between '02 & '04.
Signed in November 2005 to Menzo Productions for the recording of their first release - Entangled. It is recorded during 2006, with a video filmed for the song "Crash, in Sept of that year. The album comes out May 11, 2007. This release party/concert in Levis will also be the last show played with Sebastien & Charles.

Currently, the group is composed of Philippe Bourque (piano, keyboards, vocals), Jean-David Vien (drums, percussion) & Olivier Boucher (bass, vocals). They are currenly in the process of recording their second album called "Ashes City", now in pre-production with a planned release date sometime in 2009.
Well worth checking out for fans of piano based prog.
