Marty and The Superlatives open with 'The Runnin' Kind' - Merle Haggard sings 'Always Pretty' - Connie Smith sings 'You Don't Have Very Far To Go' - At Marty's request, Merle does an impression of Bob Wills introducing Lefty Frizzell, then sings a bit of 'Always Late', as Frizzell - Merle sings 'TB Blues', with an assist from Marty - Leroy Troy sings Merle's composition: 'The Old Man From The Mountain', with an assist from Harry Stinson - Connie Smith sings this week's inspirational number: 'Jesus Take A Hold' - Merle closes with his classic: 'Workin' Man Blues'.
