The Secret Sisters Featured in Live Concert Special on GAC
Real-life siblings Laura and Lydia Rogers of Muscle Shoals, AL make up the 1950's-inspired classic country duo known as The Secret Sisters. After a shot-in-the-dark audition in Nashville that left judges in awe, the girls were signed to a record deal with Universal Republic/Beladroit and released their debut self-titled album (produced by T Bone Burnett and Dave Cobb) in the U.S. on Oct. 12, 2010. Since, they have received tremendous accolades for their flawless harmonies and authentic country music nostalgia. They have toured with legendary acts Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn; as well as newly popular acts Ray LaMontagne and Amos Lee- and will soon commence dates with Brandi Carlile. Moreover, they collaborated with Jack White for his 7" series released on Third Man Records and are featured on Ray LaMontagne and The Pariah Dogs' new E.P., Live Fall 2010, in track #3 "You Can Bring Me Flowers" which is available now on iTunes. Their latest single is "Tennessee Me" (a follow-up to their catchy debut "I've Got A Feeling") and they will commence a second international tour this Summer after celebrating a #1 Country Albums Chart debut on iTunes in the U.K. in February.
