The most notorious manhunt in Long Island's history has been laid out by A&E as a tense, psychological thriller about the search for a missing woman that launched a massive manhunt, turning up body after body - but not hers.

Now the families of those murder victims become detectives themselves, trying to discover not only who killed their daughters, but how they were lured into this dangerous underworld of online escort work.

In May 2010, a 24-year-old prostitute, Shannan Gilbert, vanished into thin air. She was last seen at the home of a client in the exclusive gated community of Oak Beach, Long Island. Seven months later, while searching the desolate road near where Shannan was last seen, the police made a grisly discovery: the remains of a body."
