Post Description
A three-part drama set in the trauma unit of a London hospital, a grieving father blames a high-achieving trauma consultant for the death of his teenage son.
Trauma, ITV’s new thriller which takes place across three nights, is sure to get people talking.
Given that it’s the latest drama from Mike Bartlett, the brains behind hit Suranne Jones drama Doctor Foster, expect plenty of tension, a few shock twists and gripping central performances from two of the UK’s finest actors.
ITV seem to be nailing the ‘event series’ at the moment following on from Liar last year, starring Joanne Frogatt and Bancroft, with Sarah Parish, back in January.
It will be going head to head with Collateral on BBC Two on the same night, so to help you make your mind up here’s everything you need to know about Trauma.
What is Trauma about?
Trauma focuses on the lives of two fathers, Dan and Jon, whose lives collide with heartbreaking consequences when Dan’s teenage son Alex is stabbed and tragically dies in the trauma department run by high-flying consultant Jon.
