The 22nd hosting of WSBK action at Phillip Island, which will consist of two 22-lap races, carries a huge amount of intrigue, with seasoned world title-winning warriors such as Carlos Checa (Ducati) and Max Biaggi (Aprilia) facing a new wave of top guns in the 24-strong, nine-nationality grid in 2012.
