Wetton has a long pedigree in the progressive rock world serving stints as a member of Asia, King Crimson, Uriah Heep and UK among others. On this single disc live CD Wetton touches on these as well as several solo tunes. Wetton's voice is in fine form and his band, though nothing mind blowing, is competent throughout. He does not do a lot of re-arranging for most of the tunes outside of an acoustic version of "Heat Of The Moment", but there is something to be said for being to re-create his studio sound. Asia is represented with "Heat", "Don't Cry", "Only Time Will Tell", and "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes". King Crimson is represented by ""Easy Money", "Starless" and "Book Of Saturday". UK is represented by "Rendezvous 6:02" and "In The Dead Of Night". Several of John's better solo tracks are here too including "Battle Lines", "Crime Of Passion", and "Thirty Years". It's a must for every John Wetton fan. His voice is in good shape and the selection of songs is good. However the recording suffers from a "recording bug": the drum set and especially the snare drum are recorded too loud, ruining in part the acoustic experience.  Overall this is a very nice overview of Wetton's career up through the mid 90's and is worth checking out.
