Een hele oude CD van een hele jonge Jennifer.
Mooi materiaal om de oude dame mee te vergelijken.

review : Los Angeles in 1968 was an exciting place to be musically and The Aquarius Theatre production of "HAIR" was the show to see and for those who enjoyed a great voice the main attraction was a young soulful singer named Jennifer and she was known just as Jennifer at that time and possessed a completely magical voice !!! I remember the moment when Jennifer came out and did a smoldering and spine-tingling version of "EASY TO BE HARD" which always drew a full house standing ovation and thankfully that definitive performance is a part of this great collection that is full of stand-outs such as a brilliant take on Bob Dylan's "JUST LIKE TOM THUMB'S BLUES" which was always great to see Jennifer sing live in her various Los Angeles appearances which were always wonderful events to attend!!! "SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE WORLD" is sublime with composer Mason Williams on guitar and the result is stunning while Jennifer really raises the roof and lets it rip on a great version of "WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT" from "TOMMY" which was always another concert highlight and I never understood why this incredibly talented singer has not yet achieved wider acclaim...she really deserves it and should be recording more often as her gift is rare and she is a true original classic!!! Anyone who enjoys a great voice do not miss this collection... full of wonderous treats!!! Thank you Jennifer and please lets have another...it is long overdue!!!
