James E. Wisher schrijft fantasy en een klein beetje science fiction.

Zijn Disciples of the Horned One en Chains of the Fallen reeks vallen beide onder de hoofdreeks Soul Force Saga. De losse novelle Lizzy's First Bearer valt daar ook onder.

Bij de urban fantasy reeks Aegis of Merlin geeft Wisher aan dat Escape From the Dragon Czar het vijfde boek is, alleen is die als enige op de kaft niet genummerd en heeft het volgende boek Wrath of the Dragon Czar nummer 5 op de voorzijde. Om verwarring te voorkomen is het vijfde boek hier als 4,5 genummerd zoals de website FictionDB ook aanhoudt. 

De Death and Honor Omnibus is de officieel uitgegeven versie van de oorspronkelijke twee zelf uitgegeven losse boeken.

De op de website van James E. Wisher genoemde novelle Knights of the Red Dragon die onder de Soul Force Saga valt kon ik niet vinden, evenals het vierde boek van de science fiction reeks Rogue Star (Children of the Black Ship). Op dezelfde website kun je overigens ook nog een aantal korte verhalen tegen betaling downloaden, mits je daar behoefte aan hebt: James E. Wisher Exlusives.
