Description:
Please note: this is Firmware that has neither been approved of nor been authorized in any other way by Volkswagen for upgrade of older units.
This Firmware is only meant for devices with Index "D" or internal Hardware-generation C10/C6. Older units are not officially supported. 

An installation carries an enormous risk. Do so if you know how to fix your unit in case you got it bricked. It should only be used on D-Devices and can be used on C-Devices. 
People with units indexed "B" can try with big risk and lower index or none should by any means avoid installing this firmware.

New functions include some new layouts, more languages, Version Info accessible without hidden menue, POI integration from SD-Card and probably bug fixes. 
EQ will appear for Columbus.
Considering my own testing, it is not much faster than the 2760. Actually i feel its a little more laggy.
Since this CD comes in the "Update" layout a re-coding of your units after installation will not be required, you will loose all userdata, since the hard drive will be repartitioned to three partitions (Map/Music/POI) whereas the POI partition is new. It also means you will only have 13.88 GB Music space left after the update.
Settings will be kept. Nothing lost.

I have tested this Disk without changing it, just the way i got it. The Hidden Menue (a.k.a TestMode) is not activated. It needs to be coded by means of VCDS.
On my Generation "B" Device with Hardware HW03 it runs very well and to my full satisfaction. Well done, Continental!
Please do not try to install this when you are not known with various restrictions and sw errors.
