Dispelling the common perception that the Blitzkrieg was effective due to the technological superiority of the German tanks, this documentary examines the real weapon of the Nazi Army: the Panzer light tanks. Lightweight and equipped with simple technology, the Panzers nonetheless managed to achieve the victories enjoyed by the German forces during the first part of the Russian campaign.
