“Australian Gerry Joe Weise guitarist & vocalist, has toured Australia, USA, Europe, Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Polynesia, the Azores Isles, Scandinavia and New Zealand. Throughout his many tours, he has jammed with B.B. KING, JOHN LEE HOOKER, ERIC CLAPTON, ALBERT COLLINS and NOEL REDDING.Born and raised in Sydney Australia in 1959, GERRY JOE WEISE learned to play guitar at the age of 4. During the 1970's when he was 16 and 17, he opened for AC/DC, Midnight Oil, Angels, Dragon and Rose Tattoo, with rock bands the Class (who appeared on national TV with Gerry Joe when he was 17) and Siren in Sydney. At 18 he joined the jazz-rock band Corroboree that featured drummer Craig Collinge (Manfred Mann) and keyboardist Cezary Skubiszewski (Alexis Korner). Since the 1980's Gerry Joe Weise has toured the USA, Europe, Australia, Tahiti, Fiji, Polynesia, Azores Isles, Scandinavia and New Zealand.”
