Severn Valley Railway
The Severn Valley Railway with its 16 miles of reopened track is one of the longest Heritage Railways in the country today, running between its two terminuses Kidderminster & Bridgenorth through one of the most picturesque valleys in the West Midlands. While looking at pictures of the Railway as it is today, this documentary tells the story of the history of the SVR from its conception, to its opening in 1862, to its final closure in 1963 as another casualty to Beeching.
