EVOLUTIVE is a French neo-prog band which started in the Highlands of Scotland in 1994 and released its first album, "Triskel" in 1997. 
Following the first album, the band signed with RKO Records and recorded their second album over a period of four weeks. This second album, "Analogique" was released in 2002. 
The band then decided to rework a piece that they originally recorded in 1997 and released on "Triskel". T
his piece called "Le Mythe de Sisyphe" was released as a concept album based on Greek mythology in 2005 under their own label, Evolutive Records. 
Both their second and third albums are still available on the band's website for free download. 

EVOLUTIVE are still active and have recently released their fourth album entitled "Electro-Evo-lutive4" in 2009. The band plans to perform live in support of its fourth album. 
They have also released two new tracks, "Elle" and "Pompei" on their website. 

The band cites influences such as early PINK FLOYD, KING CRIMSON, THE BEATLES, THE MOODY BLUES and LED ZEPPELLIN.
