&#147;Richie Kotzen's Soldiers Of Sorrow features cover versions of Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam TV series theme tunes, performed by guitarist Kotzen. The CD includes the title track "Ai Senshi" (Japanese for Soldiers Of Sorrow) and also includes three of Kotzen's original pieces - "The Way Forward", "Re-Encounter", and "The Beginning", the first two being instrumental tracks. Former David Lee Roth and Mr. Big bassist Billy Sheehan holds down the low end, while drummer Franklin Vanderbilt rounds out the solid rhythm section. Interestingly, the 'band' goes by the cryptic name Z x R.&#148;
