This hotfix ensures appropriate security permissions are enforced when the Access Protection feature is enabled to allow for a successful migration to the new AAC based Access Protection engine. Without this hotfix, when the Access Protection feature is enabled (default configuration) and the product is upgraded to use the new AAC based Access Protection engine, some functional aspects of the product and possibly other products, installed on the same endpoint benefiting from the Access Protection, may be impacted and trigger Access Protection rules by error.
