Zelenhgorm is an adventure game that combines movie clips of 140 live actors with computer-generated environments to make the experience more like an interactive movie. You are Arrikk Vaheirr, a “gifted” lad, if you will. You are an inventor that hears things others cannot and has visions of ancient events in your dreams. Voices speak to you while you sleep, alerting you to prophecy and destiny. Unfortunately, the other people on your isolated island are not fond of you. You are left-handed and the existing prophecies do not speak well of left-handers. They suspect that you are involved in witchcraft when a strange shipping vessel (the same one from your dreams) appears in the river behind your house. It’s up to you to find out the answers to these strange occurrences that have arisen on your remote island. Zelenhgorm is divided between pre-rendered video and 3D areas you can examine. In 3D areas, you move the mouse in order to look around the current area. Different icons will appear when you center your view on an item that can be collected or another area you can move to. The controls are very uninvolved and should be accessible to anyone.
