Invasion: Earth is a six-part science fiction drama TV mini-series developed by the Syfy channel that centers on an invasion of a massive scale as British scientists and military discover a plot to turn Earth into an alien breeding ground It was 1944 at the height of the German attacks on England when a definite non-rocket crash-lands into the English countryside. That non-rocket turned out to be a downed alien craft with two non-human occupants. It was the first and last time that type of craft was seen until 1998 as RAF/NATO teams rush to intercept a new craft and its pilot, Lieutenant Charles Tyrell (Anton Lesser), the original British officer from the '44 landing. When they discover a tracking device in his tooth and portals begin to form in a bid to get Tyrell back, Dr. Amanda Tucker (Maggie O'Neill) runs his place and is returned with a brand of nD on her arm. Flight Lieutenant Chris Drake (Vincent Regan) and Dr. Tucker figure out that the crafts were in fact part of an alien race called the Echoes, only out to study other planets. It is the nDs however, that pose the threat to Earth as the race of farmers harvest organic matter and to cultivate new crops wherever they go. It is up to Drake, Tucker, and Earth's military forces to stop the invasion for humanity's sake
