If it had not been for the gestapo security guard sitting 1meter away from me, who kept talking into his walkie, and had the bloody thing on vol. 11, i would have had the perfect night.
this same guy actually prevented two whole blocks of people from going front row during LARS in Bob's set; but the left hand side of the audience WAS allowed, so now there was this bizarre gap between the people at the barrier and us in second row....
wankers! (you can actually hear me cursing at the guy,..never done that before whilst recording, but this one....)
Back to Knopfler's
I think it is too quite, my recording that is, so i invite any mastering wizzard to do something about it, as long as credits are correct. also, artwork, always welcome.
I really, really like the addtional echo on marks's voice during Hill Farmers Blues, and he really, really seemed to be in "the zone" whilst singing it. Also Marbletown was brilliant, as always i may add.
A night in Summer long ago was a VERY nice surprise, but i missed the outro on electrical guitar.
all in all, a GREAT evening, both artists were awesome, and Bob with Mark on Blind Willie and Things have changed (see earlier upload) was the icing on the cake. a life long dream come true, in front of my eyes, seated in 2nd row in front of Bob/Guy/Richard...
Enjoy!
