FOUR celebrities are taking a journey deep into their career history, back to a time when they had to earn a living, rather than appear on endless ITV reality shows watched by an old-timer called Doris who's lost the remote.

Each week a different celeb revisits life as they knew it, prior to what is loosely referred to here as 'success and fame', to see if they can cut it in their former jobs.

Featured in the series are DJ Christian O'Connell, Boyzone singer Shane Lynch, former EastEnders actor and I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! winner Joe Swash, and Shaun Williamson (ex-EastEnder Barry), who meet up with old colleagues who reveal what they were like as they ventured into the world of work (I know, the paper's trembling in anticipation isn't it?).

Christian, who previously worked as a binman and in telesales, features tonight, spending a day on the bins. He then faces a day in an office, where he fails to impress the sales team, and revisits the hospital radio station where his career first started.

Christian admits he played some tactless jokes on his listeners when starting out. Even they, though, are more palatable than this pointless guff.
