Mad Jack the Pirate was a short lived 1990s cartoon (1998) featuring only 13 episodes before being cancelled. On American television the show was broadcast on Fox Kids and was directed by Jeff DeGrandis and Bill Kopp (who were also writers to another short-lived FOX Kids show: Toonsylvania).

The concept is of the adventures of the rather unsuccessful and cowardly Pirate Jack (voiced by Bill Kopp) who despite his failures never doubts his own excellence and his dim-witted anthropomorphic rat sidekick Snuk (voiced by Billy West) as they sail the seas on their ship the Sea Chicken.
