G.I. Joe is the code name for America's daring, highly trained special mission force. 

Its purpose: to defend human freedom against Cobra, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world! 

And from 1983 to 1987, it entertained children six days a week with realistic animation (for the day), 
superior scripts that have stood the test of time, and its positive moral messages. 
The cartoon is most memorable for its superb vocal talent. From Flint to Cobra Commander, 
each and every voice stood apart and still echoes in the ears of its truly avid fans.
