Thor & Loki Blood Brothers Part 4 720P


The newest Marvel Knights Animation series brings the acclaimed graphic novel from Robert Rodi and Esad Ribic to life, taking a powerful look inside the minds of Thor and Loki, brothers in the mythical land of Asgard and seemingly forever enemies. But just why does Loki hate his brother Thor? And could it be that this master of mischief isn't really the villain he's been branded? Loki's insatiable lust for power and his feud with Thor take on new meaning in this resonant epic.


Part 4:

In this fourth and final episode, the day has arrived where Loki will see his stepbrother and rival brought to an end by ways of an execution, but as the hour nears Loki begins to fill with remorse. Like previous episodes where Loki's past with various characters are explored, we get some insight to his relationship with Thor, which, surprisingly, leaves you feeling very sympathetic towards the God of Mischief and brings the character to a new light.

Part four introduces us to Loki's biological mother, which felt a bit unexplored but the interest of the episode is whether or not Thor will meet his end by way of execution. Once again Hela makes an appearance; and the scene is amazing in both animation and dialogue. The episode overall is, once again, a fantastic piece of storytelling with amazing artwork, but the ending was weak. Mostly it's because I felt for Loki as a character and he seemed cheated in the end, but it also could have been due to the whole anticlimactic way it was approached; they built up the episode only to have it just end so suddenly.
