Post Description

steve Arrington is an American singer and minister who was born in Ohio. Arrington relocated from Ohio to San Francisco, California and joined the funk group Slave (founded 1975) in 1978 as a background singer. Eventually Arrington took over lead vocals on such hit songs as "Just a Touch of Love," "Watching You," and "Wait for Me." Arrington left Slave in 1983, forming Steve Arrington's Hall of Fame. Their most successful album was 1985's Dancin' in the Key of Life, whose title track became a Top Ten R&B hit. In 1986 Arrington experienced a religious conversion, left pop music, and is now a minister at his own Amazing Love Full Gospel Church in Kettering, Ohio, near Dayton.
