It seems really pointless to be preing entertainment shows about buddy
cops, or scheming lawyers or african american situation comedies following
the senseless tragedy in Colorado on the morning of July 20th 2012. As
someone who frequents movie theatres more then most, I'm beyond devastated
that the act of one could hurt so many. A movie theatre is meant to be
an escape to a world where there can be a Batman or a foulmouthed teddy can
be your thunder buddy. The Dark Knight Rises is a stunning piece of motion
picture filmmaking that will forever be tarnished by the act of this one person.
While I wasn't in a midnight showing, I know many who were across this land
of ours.

The message of the Batman trilogy was about overcoming crime and presenting a
better world for the citizens of Gotham to live in and that was taken from
those in Aurora. The world needed a Batman last night.
