Nikos Portokaloglou, a creator with the complete meaning of the word, followed a discreet and at the same time unusually mature course. His penetrating, almost sharp lyrics fit with his tuneful, some times erotic music, proving that only a true creator can feel the fascination of music; just like he does.

He writes the music and the songs for the movie BRAZILERO (2001) by Sotiris Goritsas, and tries to blend electronic music with natural instruments. Together with his usual collaborators Tsakalos and Mouratoglou ? the latter sharing the arrangement with him ? he uses instruments such as the Cretan lyra, the nei, the flute, the kanonaki and others. He shares the vocals of the songs of the film with Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Stavros Logaridis and Adrianna Babali.
