Post Description
So many years have gone to finally enjoy of a great concert. Formed with their first and best elements, band member Eddie Jobson present us the CD release of LIVE IN BOSTON (1978): A finesse piece of art that shows the original chemistry of an outstanding Progressive seventies band that made an array of great amazing concerts for the american union that year and carring their raw live energy and the virtuoso interpretations of the songs that made them one of the best progressive bands on earth like: "Time To Kill", "In The Death Of Night" or the mesmerizing instrumental "Alaska". It was a shame that Holdsworth and Bruford left the band afterwards the tour, but that"s another story...
The recorded live music contains too, three songs from the second album DANGER MONEY: "The Only Thing She Needs", "Carrying No Cross" and "Caesar"s Palace Blues". A little bit different from the bootleg THE ROAD TEST that not only contain these great songs but the song "Forever Untill Sunday" from the Bruford"s second solo album ONE OF A KIND (1979).
Whatever it is, this great recording is the same that CONCERT CLASSICS, but with a real re mixed and re masterized work that make it shine for the die hard fans! This recording has the task to prepare the road for the new band (UKZ) that is hiting the road since 2008. Could it be a prelude of a possible miracle of the first band reunion? (We really hope so!)
