1965 Country Music Jamboree filmed in Nashville, TN. Jubal A. Bristol (played by Arnold Stang) assembles the talent to replace a no-show Italian opera company booked to perform at a benefit by his wife. The musical lineup features Lefty Frizzell, Sonny James, Bill Monroe, Dottie West, Connie Smith and Kitty Wells, with jokesters Minnie Pearl and Homer and Jethro.
