Post Description

Bobby Keys Band (featuring Dan Baird)
Mercy Lounge
Nashville TN
April 25, 2011

The band featured Dan Baird (georigia Satelittes) on guitar and vocals, Chark Kinsolving on lead guitar,
Steve Gorman (Black Crowes) on drums, Robert Kearns (Bottle Rockets, Lynyrd
Skynyrd) on bass and the incredible Mike Webb on keyboards.

A short set (10 songs) was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd and it was obvious
from the start that this band were there to have fun by the bucket load. Working
his way through a phenomenal career full of hits the band delivered classics
such as The Wanderer (Dion), Brown Sugar, Bitch, Sweet Virginia, Can't You Hear
Me Knocking (Stones), The Letter (Box Tops/Joe Cocker), Whatever Gets You
Through The Night (John Lennon), Harlem Nocturne and one other that escapes me
right now. It was a shortish set (10 numbers) but the band were tight, having a
blast and playing their socks off with Mr Keys blowing his heart out and
apparently loving every minute of it.

Excellent audience recording. Recorded with Edirol R-09
with Church Cardoid Mics with STC-9000 Preamp from left
side of stage near speakers.

Thanks to mbodayle for taping and sharing.

NO art work.
